'We will be unstoppable' - Arsenal fans send Yves Bissouma transfer plea to Edu

The transfer window may have only just closed but Arsenal supporters are already looking ahead to the business they could complete at the end of the season.

Mikel Arteta's side focused heavily on trimming a bloated squad during the mid-season window, offloading Mesut Ozil, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Shkodran Mustafi and Sead Kolasinac.

That has given Edu plenty of room to work with heading into the end of the season, where he and Arteta will continue their rebuild at the Emirates Stadium.

How much the Gunners have to spend remains to be seen but fans on social media are already planning ahead for what they want to see happen.

Wolves 2-1 Arsenal: Mikel Arteta press conference

One player that supporters have cast their eye on is Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma, who has excelled for the Seagulls this season.

The 24-year-old has been a key-part of Graham Potter's side, which hit fresh heights on Wednesday after defeating defending Premier League champions Liverpool at Anfield.

Fresh from victory over Tottenham, Brighton are in fine form and Bissouma has been an integral part of that side - but fans want him to be snatched up.

Many took to social media after the final whistle on Merseyside, declaring that the Ivory Coast international would be the ideal addition.

Interestingly, such a move would see him unite with compatriot Nicolas Pepe at the Emirates Stadium and would add to a growing African contingent, which also includes Thomas Partey.
