Ghost hunters believe they have caught a paranormal being on camera after visiting a site that is "home to a pooka" according to Irish folklore.
The Paranormal Supernatural Investigation's Ireland group visited Lackeen Castle in Co Tipperary on Wednesday to see if they could find anything.
According to legend, a a fairy shape-shifter still roams the castle to this day, and the group think they have spotted it in a spooky image.

In the picture supplied by the group, the face of a person can be made out in the right hand side of the bars.
A spokesperson for the group said: "We find this image very interesting as we feel it backs up the Paranormal Phenomena and Folklore in regards to Lackeen Castle. We posted this image up on our Facebook Page, Paranormal Supernatural Investigation's Ireland and didn't mention anything about the image. Majority of people are saying they see an image of a person.
"There is a significant amount of Folklore and Paranormal activity connected to the site. It is said that it is now the home to a pooka, a fairy shape-shifter from Irish mythology. The legend goes that some old hags were stealing from a dead body when an O’Kennedy came upon them.
"They were defended by the pooka which was captured by O’Kennedy. It was taken to Lackeen Castle where O’Kennedy’s servants begged their master to let it go or else they would be cursed. After promising to never hurt any member of the O’Kennedy family, the pooka was released.
"There is a local tradition which states that the pooka can still be seen roaming around the castle to this day. There is several different versions of this story, and it can be found in many books of folklore. We as a group believe folklore and history play a massive part into our research before we investigate places like Lackeen Castle."
What do you think? Is this paranormal activity or just a trick of the eye?
