As Christmas gets ever closer so does getting organised and getting presents for everyone from the babies in your family to your grandparents.
Charity shopping is the perfect way to find some fab gifts this season as lockdown clearouts mean many items have been donated, it is eco-friendly and better for the environment, and is cost-effective.

We visited all the charity shops on Albany Road in Cardiff and there are some fab deals to be had.
Women
If you are looking to buy something for your girlfriend, wife, sister, mum or grandmother, or anyone else who loves a fashionable bargain, then the charity shops will not disappoint.
Handbags: Lots of the charity shops on Albany Road were offering a great range of handbags from brands like Cath Kidston, such as this over-the-shoulder style and rucksack from Greyhound Rescue Wales.
There was also this fab clutch bag from The British Heart Foundation for £6.00.
And this more casual style Jack Wills over-the-shoulder drawstring bag from Tenovus for £4.99.
Fashion: There are so many great brands available in charity shops for such a good price it is always worth a browse and The British Red Cross, of which there are two shops on Albany Road, is partnered with Zara meaning you get cheaper clothes straight from the high street.

Other brands in the charity shop include New Look, H&M, and Billabong like this fab jacket for just £8.99 in Tenovus.
Or if you're a hat person, there's this gorgeous berry-coloured one for £4 in the British Red Cross.
Other: If you aren't thinking of a handbag or some fashion items there is still plenty of choice in the charity shops.

A lovely wine glass set that is sure to bring some sparkle in this set for just £1.50 from Scope.

Another option is cosy pieces for the home like this cute pillow for £1.95 from Greyhound Rescue Wales.
Men
Boyfriends, husbands, uncles, fathers and grandfathers can all be ticked off the list at a charity shop, too.
Fashion: There are some great brands available in charity shops for men including Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, Jack Jones, and many more.

Other: From classic car models to wash bags you can find a huge variety of gifts in the charity and the other items in the women's section such as the pieces for the home could easily be brought for men too.
Maybe they love badminton or are looking to try a new sport after Christmas? These retro badminton rackets from Barnardo's are £5.

And if they have a record player why not pick them up to their favourite record? Charity shops are great places to find some vinyl gems and one-off records.
Children
You can also buy for the little ones in your life and it doesn't just have to be toys.
Fashion: While some children may not be fussed by brands like Quiksilver or Zara they are sure to love these Disney trousers and Troll rucksack.
For the already rugby-loving babies you can pick up this babygrow for £1.50 from the British Heart Foundation.

Other: There are of course of some great toys, books and board games to be grabbed for the little ones.
