One of Liverpool's most famous songs has changed - here's how it now sounds

Jamie Webster unveiled a new verse to one of Liverpool's most iconic songs, much to the delight of local fans, ahead of the Reds' pre-season friendly with Borussia Dortmund in Notre Dame.

After beating Tottenham Hotspur to win the European Cup for a sixth time last month, it was only a matter of time before Liverpool 's 'We've won it five times' chant was updated accordingly.

And the singer-songwriter debuted his version when entertaining fans over in South Bend ahead of Jurgen Klopp 's side's first game of their US tour.

As well as marking the Reds' European Cup final win in Madrid, the newest version of the well-known song also pays tribute to Champions League cult hero Divock Origi .

Lyrics

"Divock scored in Spain.. and the Reds went in f*****g insane,

"14 years and now we're Kings of Europe once more,

"We won it 6 times, we won it 6 ti-ii-mes,

"We went to Madrid and won it 6 times!"
