'We've matured so much' Leeds United fans react after Jack Harrison's late winner sends Whites top

Another late goal sent Leeds United fans into dreamland as Jack Harrison's 87th minute winner at Reading saw the club return to the top of the table.

It was shaping up to be a frustrating evening against a dogged Royals side before Harrison's late header sealed the points and gave Leeds a second late winner in four days.

Befofre then Stuart Dallas had come the closest to breaking the deadlock as he crashed his effort from distance against the crossbar.

And that frustration spilled over to the supporters watching on, with many bemoaning Leeds’ inability to test Rafael Cabral in the Reading goal.

Browner wrote on Twitter: “Why do we have to take so much out of the ball in every attack phase in the final third? Why can't we just have a shot?”

Neil added: “I think we could play for 1,000 minutes tonight and not hit the target with a shot.”

Liam Gray tweeted: “Why do we have to try walk it into the six-yard box all the time instead of having an edge of the box dig?”

Meanwhile, there were plenty of fans impressed with another superb showing from on-loan Ben White, with many supporters lauding the defender’s attacking capabilities.

Maxwello tweeted: “Ben White is our most attacking player and that tells you all you need to know about this team.”

Through It All Together added: “Ben White looking good in his box-to-box centre back role.”

Eventually though, they found a way through, with Harrison grabbing the all-important goal as United leapfrogged West Brom at the top of the table.

Andrew tweeted: "Get in. Had to work hard for that win, but after the below par performance, can't complain with 1-0."

Mark added: "We'd have lost or drawn that game last season! Got to give Reading credit, they were so hard to break down."

Here's what other fans were saying about that late Harrison winner...
