The penny is finally dropping for many of Donald Trump‘s most adamant supporters. After all, with a second presidency under his belt, he no longer needs to appeal to his base, and he’s proven more than willing to throw them under the proverbial bus.
Sore points for former Trump disciples are his aiding and abetting Israel’s genocide, the betrayal of rural Americans through tariffs, breaking his promise not to cut Medicaid/Medicare, and embarking on military action in the Middle East. But, beyond all of that, there’s a dawning horror that Trump himself is up to his eyeballs in the Epstein files.
As for a vibe check, let’s pop over to Breck “ThePatrioticBlonde” Worsham on X, a three-time Trump voter who worked on his presidential campaign, who’s now throwing herself off the Trump train as quickly as she can:
And now we are on the brink of WWIII.

I'm a 3 time Trump voter and a Constitutional Conservative.
I worked his presidential campaign.
I now regret all of the above, as from Epstein to Israel he has completely betrayed us all.
God help us.
We've been played.(@ImBreckWorsham) September 25, 2025

Who could possibly have seen this coming?
Yes, Breck, you have been played. Sympathy is limited, as you really only needed a cursory glance at Trump’s biography to note that he’s been leaving a path of lies, betrayal, and selfishness for around sixty years. Few people who’ve worked with Trump for long have much nice to say about him – and especially not if he owes them money!
As you might imagine, Worsham is facing some serious heat from those still drinking the Kool-Aid. She’s gone on to underline that she didn’t abandon Trump – he abandoned her!
How quickly some of you seem to forget. I didn’t just wake up one morning and think. "Hmmmmm….I could go get my nails done today, or I can recant my support of Trump. Which should I choose?"

“He TOLD me he no longer wanted my support. He said that he no longer wanted the support from ANY of his voters who demanded he keep his word on exposing pedophiles within our government who were implicated in the Epstein files. Remember? And since that point in time he’s done a wealth of things that’s solidified my decision to recant that support. I’m just giving the man what he asked for.
We can only underline that, from Trump’s point of view, these idiots have outlived their usefulness to him. He no longer needs to worry about being elected again, and must be relieved he doesn’t have to playact that he’s at all in touch with barely literate yokels that he neither cares about nor wants to see.
Then again, if he is serious about remaining in office beyond his second term, he may need this popular support back. Or, alternatively, he may remain in the White House surrounded by his still-loyal, highly-armed praetorian guard and dare everyone else to do something about it.
