And changing your duvet covers tops the list.
Nothing beats climbing into fresh sheets at the end of the day, but changing them - especially if you have a double or king-sized bed - is more of a HIIT workout than a chore.
Whether your technique is to crawl inside to fix the corners properly or to do the inside-out trick your mum showed you as a child - changeover day is hassle most us could do without.
But as always, social media is overflowing with household tips, tricks and hacks - and one woman has revealed a genius way to swap over duvets with minimal effort.
TikTok user Christine, owner of the @_forthehome account, shared the below video revealing the duvet cover hack with her 164.9k followers.
Narrating over the short clip, Christine says: "I'm going to teach you how to easily put on a duvet cover.
"First turn your duvet [cover] inside out and then put the opening towards the bottom of the bed.
"Lay the duvet on top, tie the corners [she lines up the corners of the duvet with the cover], then roll your duvet cover and blanket [duvet] towards the bottom of the bed.
"Next, take the opening and turn it over what you just rolled and close it up.
"And then unravel. Voila!"
In the comments section under the video, TikTok users were keen to share their opinions on Christine's clever bed hack.
Some deemed the hack a bit too difficult to get their head around.
User @laurenlindsey68 wrote: "My brain can't understand how this is possible."
But @kbrijackson - who tried out the hack for herself - posted: "Not gonna lie I had my doubts BUT OH MAN IT WORKS!"
And @lnhill1991 agreed, commenting: "IDK [I don't know] what kind of magic this is, and my brain literally cannot comprehend what just happened but it works and I have to say thank you."
