Petrol stations across Merseyside are either backed up with queuing drivers or out of fuel amid fears of petrol supply shortages.
More petrol stations across the region were forced to close today, Saturday, September 25, after running out a fuel following similar scenes on Friday.

Pictures taken by the ECHO today show yellow 'Sorry out of use' signs over both petrol and diesel pumps.
And most of the petrol stations the ECHO has visited today do not have any fuel.
Tesco's on Mather Avenue in Allerton reportedly did have petrol but no diesel.
Pictures of the Sainsbury's petrol station on Scotland Road also showed cones and barricades blocking cars entering, with a sign which said 'Petrol station closed'.

A number of the ECHO's reporters also tried various petrol stations across Merseyside to see if they were open or had fuel.
It was reported the Shell garage on Queens Drive by the Rocket was closed and Tesco petrol station on Altcar Road in Formby was also shut.

The BP garage on Islington Road also ran out of fuel, leaving drivers to go elsewhere.
On the Wirral, Sainsbury's on King's Road in Bebington, and Texaco on Old Chester Road in Bebington were both out of petrol.
The Asda petrol station on Woodchurch Road near Arrowe Park was also turning motorists away and having to shut due to no fuel.
The same was also found at the petrol station in Sainsbury's in Prenton.
Today, an NHS worker told the ECHO she was left in tears at a petrol station after a half an hour queue for fuel left her late for work.

Laura, who has asked to be referred to by her first name, said she was on her way to work in Wirral this morning when she was left unable to get fuel from three petrol stations in the area.

The closures and queues come as the latest in a number of stores suffering from supply shortages, due in part to a shortage of HGV drivers.
The pandemic and Brexit have both played their part in this perfect storm of a crisis for the industry, with a backlog of driving tests within the DVLA limiting the number of new drivers available to alleviate the problem.
BP has said some garages in its 1,200-strong network were experiencing shortages – with Esso and Tesco also forced to close a small number of forecourts.
The Road Haulage Association has said there is a shortage of 100,000 drivers.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has not ruled out deploying the army to forecourts or relaxing rules to ease the shortage of drivers.
When questioned about it on BBC Breakfast, Mr Shapps said: "If it can actually help, we will bring them in."
People are being advised to buy fuel "as usual".
A spokesman for the prime minister said the government acknowledged that there were "issues facing many industries across the UK, and not just in terms of HGV drivers".
He added that there was no shortage of fuel and that there was a "very resilient and robust supply chain".
A spokesman for car leasing provider LeaseCar.uk urged motorists not to panic buy fuel.
He said: "We're urging our customers not to fill up unless they have to. As we understand the situation there is no need to panic buy petrol or diesel. If the local fuel station doesn't have fuel you should be able to find one nearby that does.
"Drivers should carry on as usual and not panic as filling up unnecessarily will only worsen the supply problem.”
