Last week KFC announced that they would be bringing one of Ireland's most iconic Irish food items, the chicken fillet, roll to their menus for a limited time.
The chicken fillet roll has been a staple for the Irish diet and is perhaps most well known, along with the jambon, for being a one of the best hangover cures.
KFC's chicken fillet roll consists of KFC original recipe chicken, cheese, black pepper, mayo and lettuce all wrapped up inside a tasty baguette.
You can also order the Zinger Chicken Fillet Roll which will have Zinger fried chicken, cheese, spicy Supercharger sauce and lettuce in the baguette.
I decided to order the original KFC chicken roll in a meal deal along with a medium chips and of course gravy.

To conclude, the roll itself was a little disappointing but I suppose you're really paying for that distinctive KFC flavouring.
Definitely worth a try and for only €4.10 you can't really go wrong.
