Arsenal fans have taken to social media to respond to reports that Real Madrid's Isco may be available for loan in January.
The Spanish giants are said to be looking to ship the 28-year-old midfielder out on a temporary basis with an obligation to buy for around £18 million, according to Mirror Football.
Isco's representatives are reportedly sounding out potential destinations in England, with the idea of a Premier League move appealing to him.
One of the clubs that will surely be in contention for his signature, Arsenal, missed out on Houssem Aouar in the summer and could turn to the Real Madrid playmaker as a cheaper alternative.
Supporters on Twitter clashed in their views over a possible deal, with those keen on the player opposed by others who believe the club should make a better choice.
@DingdongLaca: We're such a badly run club. I'd rather develop Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson, Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli then bring someone like Isco to the Arsenal. There are better choices out there as well.
@Arsenalnoble: At least he’s proven. £18m is a bargain price for a player of his calibre. Spending €60m on Aouar doesn’t make sense when Isco Alarcon is available for quarter of that price. Better dribbler, passer, and all round better game.
@guendouzx: We’ve got Ozil.
@Mavacuius: I would love him here, he’s an amazing player and still is.
@jmonagle1: Look what a move did for James at Everton, absolutely the type of player we need.
@luisbunuel3: Would love to see him in Arsenal shirt. Massive talent. Can be as good as Hames at Everton or even better. Loan with an option to buy would be great. Obligation is way too risky.
@WarDamnGunners: Isco on his day is an incredible player and one of my favourites. Would love him at Arsenal.
@GoonerbrianAFC: All I want in our team is Houssem Aouar. That's all.
@kaybounty: We should surely not miss out on this, I beg with my life.
