We spoke to the ONE Tottenham fan on flight from Liverpool to Madrid for Champions League final

Liverpool and Spurs fans are descending on Madrid in their thousands for the Champions League final.

But one Tottenham supporter has had a more interesting trip than most on his way to the Spanish capital.

Hundreds of Reds were on a packed flight from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Madrid this morning - along with a solitary Spurs fan!

Despite being heavily outnumbered and having to hear regular chants of Allez Allez Allez high above the skies, Jason McAuley remained in good spirits.

He said: "Good banter, lots of songs. No Spurs songs but it's been a good laugh.

"I won't be wearing this [Tottenham] shirt on the way back though. No chance!"

Jason, from London, works in Liverpool and got the flight out with friends who all follow Jurgen Klopp's side.

He added: "I wasn't going to wear this shirt but they bet me, and I've done it."

Asked if he believed his team can claim the cup, Jason said: "My head says probably not.

"My heart says maybe. We'll see what happens."
