We simulated Sheffield United vs Arsenal on FIFA 20 to get a score prediction

Arsenal will be hoping to stretch their unbeaten run in all competitions to nine games on Monday evening, as they take on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the Premier League.

Since losing to Liverpool in late September, the Gunners have yet to lose a game, winning five of their last eight in all competitions.

However, Unai Emery's side are yet to win away from home in the Premier League since the opening day of the season, when they beat Newcastle United 1-0 at St James' Park.

So, what XI will Emery go with against Sheffield United?

What will the final score be at Bramall Lane?

We used FIFA 20 to predict the outcome of Arsenal's Monday evening Premier League clash.

Sheffield United vs Arsenal score predicted using FIFA 20

To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 20 but didn't select a team to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a unique prediction.

The AI difficulty was set to world class, with the line-up updated with the latest transfers, injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Sheffield United will set up in a 5-3-2 formation, with the line-up as follows: Henderson; Baldock, Basham, Egan, O'Connell, Stevens; Fleck, Norwood, Lundstram; Robinson, Sharp.

We predict that Arsenal will set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with the line-up as follows: Leno; Chambers, David Luiz, Sokratis, Tierney; Xhaka, Ceballos, Guendouzi; Pepe, Aubameyang, Saka.

After a frantic opening ten minutes, in which neither side could get hold of the ball, the game finally settled down and Arsenal took control.

And, with 21 minutes on the clock, the away side took the lead after a period of superiority.

As the Gunners lost the ball in the attacking half of the pitch, Enda Stevens tried to launch a counter-attack from the left but was pressed instantly by Nicolas Pepe, who won the ball back and powered a low cross into the area.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reacted first and guided the ball towards goal with the inside of his foot, using the pace of the cross, which flew into the bottom right hand corner.

It didn't take long for the Gabonese striker to double his tally. Dani Ceballos wriggled past a few Sheffield United defenders near the byline, advanced into the area and found Aubameyang with a great pass, which left the striker with the easy task of side-footing the ball home with his left foot.

Another great goal from Unai Emery's side.

In the second half, Arsenal controlled the game much like they did in the first.

United were trying a more direct approach in order to unsettle the Gunners defence, which worked for a short period, particularly targeting David Luiz.

However, the home side couldn't muster any real chances and Emery's side grabbed a third goal on the breakaway eight minutes from time, when Ceballos played in substitute Lucas Torreira, who poked the ball home from close range.

A valuable three points on the road.

Full-time score: Sheffield United 0-3 Arsenal

Here are the full-time match stats.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

Arsenal absolutely dominated proceedings in all areas, with possession, shots, shots on target and goals in the Gunners' favour. In fact, the home side didn't even register a shot on goal, such was their dominance.

Dani Ceballos was in excellent form, setting up two goals and creating three chances overall. He was also brilliant when out of possession, winning the ball back six times.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got on the scoresheet twice and also had a strong rating, but was pipped to the MOTM award by his Spanish teammate.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

This FIFA 20 simulation predicts that Arsenal will have no problem overcoming Chris Wilder's Sheffield United side this evening, with the Gunners running out 3-0 winners at Bramall Lane.
