We simulated Man City vs Wolves to get a score prediction ahead of Etihad clash

Manchester City could win their fifteenth successive Premier League in on Tuesday, as they host Wolves at the Etihad Stadium.

Despite City's only injury concern being defender Nathan Ake, Pep Guardiola could still rotate against Nuno Espirito Santo's side in midweek, particularly with the Manchester Derby coming up next weekend.

Gabriel Jesus, Joao Cancelo, Rodri, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Aymeric Laporte and Benjamin Mendy are all pushing for a recall against Wolves on Tuesday, whilst Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne may earn successive starts as they continue their return from injury.

For Wolves, Willy Boly, Raul Jimenez, Daniel Podence and Marcal will also miss out due to injury.

So, what line-up will Guardiola go with against Wolves? And, what will the final score be?

We used FIFA 21 to get a score prediction. This is what happened...

City vs Wolves score predicted using FIFA 21

To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 21 but didn't select a team to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself.

The AI difficulty was set to world class, with the line-up updated with the latest transfers, injuries and suspensions.

We predict that City could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with the line-up as follows: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Stones, Cancelo; Bernardo, Rodri, De Bruyne; Sterling, Jesus, Foden.

We predict that Wolves could set up in a 5-2-3 formation, with the line-up as follows: Patricio; Semedo, Dendoncker, Coady, Saiss, Jonny; Neves, Moutinho; Traore, Willian Jose, Neto.

In what was a surprisingly even first-half, City took the lead after 20 minutes through Raheem Sterling, who found some space in the box and was found by a great pass from Kevin De Bruyne.

The forward struck the ball well with his weaker foot, with his effort arrowing into the far corner to give City an early lead.

But within a few minutes, Wolves were level through Willian Jose.

Pedro Neto did well on the left, cutting past Kyle Walker and drilling a low cross across the face of goal, and Willian Jose was in the perfect position to make it 1-1 from close range.

In the second-half, City were much better and took the lead once more with 20 minutes remaining, with Sterling again getting on the scoresheet.

The winger outpaced Jonny and smashed a finish across the goalkeeper and into the far corner from a tight angle, a great finish.

With Wolves now pushing forward to try and find a late equaliser, Saiss was caught on the ball in his own box by Kyle Walker, who found himself out of possession after pressing really high up the pitch.

Walker stole the ball and finished well past Rui Patricio to seal the result late on for Pep Gaurdiola's side.

Predicted FIFA 21 score: City 3-1 Wolves

Here are the full-time match stats.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

FIFA 21 predicts that Wolves could prove to be a dangerous opponent on Tuesday evening, but City should have enough to secure the three points, thanks to a double from Sterling and a rare goal from Walker.
