We simulated Man City vs Fulham to get a score prediction

After rediscovering their goalscoring touch in their 5-0 win against Burnley last week, Man City will be hoping for similar against Fulham on Saturday.

City's only injury concern heading into the game is Sergio Aguero, who is again set to miss out in Pep Guardiola's squad this weekend, despite returning to training this week.

John Stones is pushing for a start against the Cottagers after a fine performance in their last home game against Burnley, but one of Ruben Dias or Aymeric Laporte would have to miss out, with Benjamin Mendy also likely to start at left-back after scoring in that 5-0 win.

City vs Fulham score predicted using FIFA 21

To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 21 but didn't select a team to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself. The AI difficulty was set to legendary, with the line-up updated with the latest transfers, injuries and suspensions.

We predict that City could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with the line-up as follows: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Mendy; De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo; Mahrez, Jesus, Foden.

We predict that Fulham could set up in a 5-4-1 formation, with the line-up as follows: Areola; Cordova-Reid, Aina, Andersen, Adarabioyo, Robinson; Loftus-Cheek, Reed, Anguissa, Lookman; Cavaleiro.

FIFA 21 predicts a good performance and result for City this weekend, with Guardiola's side finding their goalscoring touch once again.

The first goal of the game came in the 10th minute, with Kevin De Bruyne being found by Gabriel Jesus in the box, with the Belgian making no mistake with a far post finish.

Five minutes later it was 2-0, with De Bruyne returning the favour for Jesus, who swept home the ball from close range to double City's lead.

City were dominating the game and it was the same story after the break, but completely against the run of play, Fulham managed to grab a goal back in the 52nd minute, with Cavaleiro producing a good finish after a great ball in from the left.

But City restored their two-goal lead just seven minutes later, with Bernardo Silva finishing brilliantly past Areola after being played in by De Bruyne once again.

There was even time for substitute Ferran Torres to get amongst the goals, with the Spaniard smashing a finish into the far corner with a few minutes remaining.

Predicted FIFA 21 score: City 4-1 Fulham

Here are the full-time match stats.

City dominated possession and created more chances, but more importantly, were clinical with the chances they created.
