We simulated Everton vs Tottenham to get a score prediction for Premier League clash

Tottenham will be looking to secure their first win in the Premier League since the 28th September this weekend, as they face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Spurs have been in poor form in the league so far this season and find themselves in 11th place in the league table, with just 12 points earned so far in 2019/20.

With Juan Foyth, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele pushing for recalls to the starting lineup, will they get a start against the Toffees?

And, what will the final score be?

We used FIFA 20 to predict the outcome of Spurs' trip to Goodison Park this weekend.

Everton vs Tottenham on FIFA 20

To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 20 but didn't select a team to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a unique prediction.

The AI difficulty was set to world class, with the line-up updated with the latest transfers, injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Everton could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Pickford; Sidibe, Keane, Holgate, Digne; Gomes, Davies; Walcott, Sigurdsson, Iwobi; Richarlison.

We predict that Tottenham could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the line-up as follows: Gazzaniga; Foyth, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Ndombele, Sissoko; Alli, Lo Celso, Son; Kane.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

FIFA 20 predicts a very strong performance from Spurs against Everton, particularly in the first-half, where they blew the Toffees away.

First, Lo Celso scored his first goal for the club in the 17th minute after Heung-min Son had played him in on goal, the Argentine slid the ball past Pickford to open the scoring.

A great start!

Then, Son got in on the act himself in the 29th minute, finishing expertly past Pickford's near post, in what was an emphatic finish.

In the 37th minute, Alli finished off a great half from Spurs by heading home at the back post to make it 3-0.

And Alli celebrated right in front of the home fans.

In the second-half, Everton did mount a fightback and scored just seven minutes into half through Theo Walcott, who skipped past Sanchez and finished past Gazzaniga.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

But Mauricio Pochettino's side regained control of the game and actually extended their lead in the last minute, with Son getting his second of the game.

The South Korean curled the ball brilliantly into the top corner after running free on the breakaway.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

A great win for Spurs and Pochettino.

Full-time score: Everton 1-4 Tottenham

Here are the full-time match stats.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

Tottenham were dominant in every area, in what was a very impressive performance.

Son and Lo Celso were the best players on the pitch by a distance, as they controlled the game.

This FIFA 20 simulation predicts that this could be the game where we see the 'real' Tottenham for the first time this season, as they get their season back on track with a dominant win.
