We simulated Arsenal vs Brighton to get a score prediction for Amazon Prime Video clash

Arsenal's interim head coach Freddie Ljungberg takes charge of his second game this evening (Thursday), as the Gunners prepare to take on Brighton at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are still in the process of searching for a new permanent manager, but while that continues, this game is a crucial one that the Gunners need to win.

There are likely to be a few changes from the 2-2 draw with Norwich, with the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Rob Holding, Keiran Tierney, Hector Bellerin, Gabriel Martinelli and Nicolas Pepe all pushing for a recall to the starting lineup.

But, what lineup with Ljungberg go with against the Seagulls?

What will the final score be at the Emirates?

We used FIFA 20 to simulate the outcome of Arsenal vs Brighton, a game available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Arsenal vs Brighton score predicted using FIFA 20

To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 20 but didn't select a team to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a unique prediction.

The AI difficulty was set to world class, with the line-up updated with the latest transfers, injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Arsenal could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the line-up as follows: Leno; Maitland-Niles, Holding, Mustafi, Tierney; Torreira, Guendouzi; Pepe, Ozil, Martinelli; Aubameyang.

Arsenal didn't find things easy against Brighton, but in the end, their quality shone through.

The Gunners had the best start they could have asked for, with Matteo Guendouzi opening the scoring in the sixth minute, in what was the first real chance of the game.

Mesut Ozil received the ball with his back to goal in the opposition final third, before turning and playing a lovely through ball into the path of the Frenchman, who fired past Ryan to make it 1-0.

Elegant and simple from Arsenal.

The Gunners continued to press forward and found their second of the game midway through the half, with a bit of magic from Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Ozil received the ball in the area on the right, before looking up and seeing Aubameyang free in the centre.

But, instead of shooting from a difficult angle, the Gabonese striker let the pass go through his legs, carrying through into the path of Gabriel Martinelli at the back post, who had a simple tap in.

Class from Ozil and Aubameyang, but an easy finish for Martinelli at the back stick.

The game lost of all it's tempo and zip in the second-half, with Brighton seizing control and maintaining possession in order to get back into the game.

But, Arsenal were more than happy with their two-goal lead and slowed things down at the most opportune moments, not allowing the Seagulls to get any momentum.

In the end, a comfortable win for Arsenal, thanks to Ozil's assists and goals from Martinelli and Guendouzi.

Full-time score: Arsenal 2-0 Brighton

Here are the full-time match stats.

(EA SPORTS FIFA)

Brighton actually had more of the ball and more shots on goal, with Arsenal doing all the damage and hard work in the first-half.

Mesut Ozil was by far the best player on the pitch, laying on both goals, but Aubameyang has to get a lot of credit for the second goal.

This FIFA 20 simulation predicts that Mesut Ozil will inspire Arsenal to victory against Brighton on Thursday, with Martinelli and Guendouzi among the goals for Ljungberg's side.
