'We should win this' - Chelsea fans all say the same thing as Club World Cup opponents confirmed

Chelsea's six opponents for next year's Club World Cup have been confirmed after Palmeiras defeated Flamengo 2-1 on Saturday night.

The competition, which is due to take place early in 2022, is comprised of the six winners of each confederation’s continental cup, and the UAE league champions, with the draw set to take place on Monday night.

The Blues will be joined by the aforementioned Palmeiras, Monterrey, Auckland City, Al Jazira Club, AL Hilal and Al Ahly as they bid to win the competition for the first time having lost the final to Corinthians back in 2012 - the last time the UEFA Champions League victor didn't win the competition.

Chelsea will enter at the semi-final stage and can't face the Brazilian outfit, with any of the other five teams potential opponents for Thomas Tuchel's side.

Club legend John Terry will help to conduct the draw, which is due to take place in Zurich and Blues supporters have made it no secret that they expect to win the prestigious tournament.

Fans took to social media to voice their opinions on the west Londoners' potential opponents, admitting that a repeat of 2012 cannot be on the cards. Here is what a select few on Twitter said.

@Everglad13: "It's official, Chelsea are world champions."

@_CFCRoy: "We better not bottle this, should be 2 easy wins and 2 easy clean sheets."

@PayneCFC: "please, i want to see chelsea jersey with the cwc badge. we should win this."

@AlexCFC08: "Could beat all these teams 10-0."

@CFCARMY12: "We should walk that comp with ease."

@CFCNito_: "I tell you now Monterrey is not an easy team to beat, they played Liverpool in 2019 and they barely won with a last minute winner."

@Geeekey: "It's ours this time."

@calteckodoi: "No Corinthians = Win."
