The waste, appearing to include wooden objects as well as insulation, was dumped off Blindfoot Road, Rainford. According to one resident, the area is "rife" with fly tipping.

One person said: "We need to value our community, (I am) so sick of rubbish being dumped in the alleyway at the back of our gate. We should take pride in where we live."
