'We should go back’ - Yannick Bolasie agent speaks out on future of Everton winger

Sporting Lisbon look certain to pass up on the chance to buy Yannick Bolasie from Everton.

Bolasie is spending the season with the Portuguese club but will return to Goodison after the campaign has been completed, according to his agent.

Sporting have an option to buy the 30-year-old for around €4.5m but having fallen out of favour before the enforced break, it appears they will pass up the chance to turn his move into a permanent one.

“It looks like he’s leaving Sporting,” Jwtiar Khalid Rahman told Record, as cited by Sport Witness.

“For now it’s difficult to say, because it’s all frozen. But we should get back to Everton.”

Everton have been trying to offload Bolasie for almost two years and get his £70,000-a-week wages off the books.

The £25m signing from Crystal Palace will enter the final 12 months of his contract this summer.
