We shopped Primark's trending pink collection - here's our top five picks

There is rarely anything more satisfying than heading to Primark and coming out with a brand new haul for your wardrobe.

And Primark shoppers are in for a treat, as the fast-fashion giant has recently launched a cute pink collection in-stores and it will brighten your outfit choices for the new season.

Even better, is that most of the new clothing line has been trending on social media, after the fashion retailer has been sharing snaps of the outfits to Instagram.

Primark is well-known for their clothing lines that mimic high-fashion trends without the price-tag to match and their latest collection is no exception.

From pastel pink mesh co-ord sets to pleated style handbags, fashion enthusiasts can still ride that 90s nostalgia trend for as little as £2 a piece.

And, because it doesn't take much to convince us to head to Primark, we decided to head into our local store to try and find some of the items that went viral with shoppers on social media.

With pink being the colour to add to your wardrobe for Spring 2022 and retro trends still being quite the rage recently, we get why the collection has proven popular with shoppers.

Which is why we have taken the time to have a little rummage in-store to find our top five picks from the viral clothing collection.

Pale Pink Quilted Shacket - £20

For those unaware of this trend it's the combination of a shirt and a jacket, and it became one of the hottest trends last Spring with them being found in every store.

Let's face it, even though the nicer weather is coming in, it is still Scotland after all, so you'll still want some form of warmth, which is exactly where this lightweight jacket comes in.

Cherry print mesh top and skirt combo - £10 (£5 each)

It doesn't get more 90s than a mesh co-ord set and this set is guaranteed to bring some sweetness to your wardrobe for a small price.

This co-ord set had gone viral on Primark's Instagram recently, with shoppers branding it "cute" and something that they "need."

Pastel Pink Pleated Handbag - £12

No outfit is complete without some cute accessories and this adorable hand-bag is the perfect addition to any new outfit you grab from the collection.

Bold Pink Printed Cardigan- £15

Every collection needs to have a statement piece and this jumper is certainly sure to add the wow factor to your wardrobe.

Let's face it, cardigans will always be a popular wardrobe staple and this fabulous number was praised online by shoppers for its "wildness."

Barbie Print Jumper - £8

The Barbie print jumper (Rachel Williams)

There's nothing that screams nostalgia quite like a retro Barbie print jumper.

The 90s fashion icon has been quite the inspiration for the fashion retailer in recent years after they launched a Barbie collection in 2019.

This eccentric jumper hasn't made it to the retailers social media yet, but, based on the popularity of the childhood icon, we predict that this will be a top-seller.
