West Ham begin their pre-season exploits in Austria this afternoon after an absence of eight weeks.
Manuel Pellegrini's side have been in Switzerland for a training camp for the past ten days, being put through double and sometimes triple sessions in the Alps to get them whipped into shape.
Now is the first time we will see the Hammers in match action since May and some notable names are set to feature at the CashPoint Arena in Altach, with Manuel Pellegrini not pulling his punches, naming an extremely strong side against SCR Altach.
Issa Diop, Manuel Lanzini and Felipe Anderson are among the team selected for the match, while the likes of Andriy Yarmolenko, Javier Hernandez and Jack Wilshere could be called upon from the bench.
The Hammers' busy pre-season campaign sees them face familiar foes in the form of Manchester City and Fulham, while they will also host Basque outfit Athletic Bilbao at the London Stadium next month.
With those tests set to be challenging, some may have expected a more experimental line-up against Altach but Pellegrini was not messing about and fans on social media did not waste any time giving their response to the team selected.
