We're looking for Merseyside's best neighbours

Our neighbours can make or break how we feel about our homes - and the great ones really can become lifelong friends.

Whether they take in your parcels, check in on you when you're feeling poorly or always make sure they're on hand for a chat, having good neighbours can make all the difference.

Plenty of us still remember our old neighbours years after we've moved house, and sometimes we even decide to keep in touch and maintain those cherished friendships.

We're trying to find Merseyside's best loved neighbours - the people who go the extra mile and make you feel well looked after.

They could be people who always keep an eye out for elderly neighbours or the friends who are always organising fun things for your street to get involved in.

The last few months have really served to highlight how important our relationships are with those who live close by, with many of us having to rely on our neighbours to help get vital supplies during self isolation or sheltering.

Let us know in the comments about your best loved neighbours by telling us who they are and what makes them so great.

We'll use the best in a story on the Echo this week.
