'Feeling of dread' - What Cardiff City fans are saying ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

Cardiff City welcome promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest to south Wales for tonight's Sky Bet Championship encounter.

The Bluebirds have been hit with the news that the former Forest loanee Lee Tomlin has suffered a knee injury and will face an extended spell on the sidelines.

The 31-year-old has been one of Cardiff’s key players this season, scoring seven goals in 25 outings and helping the club stay within touching distance of a play-off spot.

Cardiff fans have been reacting to the news of the injury and have been looking ahead to tonight's game against the Reds.

Here is a selection of what they had to say.

@Jonezy_9: Big game tonight. Come on the boys

@AdamJackson2009: That feeling of dread at the thought of sitting through another 90 minutes of dross in the freezing cold.... gid i hope its as least a decent game #bluebirds

Super Sol: “Bye bye, play-offs! Time to focus on avoiding relegation.”

AdeBarnes: “He’ll be back for the play-offs or is that too optimistic.”

John: “And with that the end of the Neil Harris era! Be lucky to win again this season.”

Wyn: “By Tomlin not being in the team will just show how average we are no pace no quality just set pieces.”

Joe: “We’re in trouble if we want play-offs then.”

Iker Sola: “17th place finish it is then.”

David Mico-Sherwood: “Change it up, bring someone from u23s in, were not going up or going down, bring them into first team.”
