Chelsea fans are in disbelief after UEFA announced that they will be doing a re-draw after a number of errors unfolded during the round of 16 draw ceremony.
The Blues faithful were initially happy with the outcome of the initial draw as they avoided Bayern Munich, Ajax and Real Madrid to get Lille.
However, it was Man United, Villarreal and Atletico Madrid who were not happy at all with the technical errors that were made during the first draw, that has now prompted this new decision to be made.
It all unfolded as somehow United were initially drawn against Villarreal, despite being in the same group in the previous stage, before being pulled out against Mauricio Pochettino's Paris Saint-Germain outfit.
It also appears that United's ball was left out of a possible draw against Atletico Madrid, with one for Liverpool incorrectly added.
UEFA's statement on the incident read: 'Following a technical problem with the software of an external service provider that instructs the officials as to which teams are eligible to play each other, a material error occurred in the draw for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
'As a result of this, the draw has been declared void and will be entirely redone at 1500 CET.'
Consequently, the Blues are likely not to get the same luck the second time around with the prospects one of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid or Ajax now looming to the dismay of a large section of the west London fanbase.
