Some outraged Manchester United supporters have taken aim at key figures in the club's boardroom after Antonio Conte was 'allowed' to join Tottenham.
The former Chelsea and Inter Milan coach has been unveiled by the Londoners this afternoon, replacing the sacked Nuno Espirito Santo.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came under intense pressure on the back of a heavy and humiliating reverse to bitter rivals Liverpool last Sunday afternoon.
It was a result which might yet have drastic repercussions for his position at the Old Trafford helm, despite United getting back to winning ways against Tottenham — a 3-0 result which, in turn, forced their Premier League rivals to take action on Nuno.
Conte had been heavily linked with the managerial position at Old Trafford after leaving Inter this summer.
However, the Premier League giants instead stood by their Norwegian manager, and now Tottenham have swooped in and appointed the highly-rated Italian on an 18-month contract.
