'We're done for' - Notts County fans react angrily to latest takeover twist

Notts County fans have been reacting to the latest twist in the takeover saga at Meadow Lane.

Magpies owner Alan Hardy claimed the club would finally be sold on Wednesday, having been on the market since January, with a Danish consortium understood to be buying it.

But Nottinghamshire Live understands no sale is due to be finalised today.

And in another twist, it emerged a consortium including Colin Dodd and convicted fraudster Alex May are still interested in buying the National League side.

Staff are understood to be outraged by the latest developments, having also been told it is highly unlikely they will be paid on Friday.
