Leeds United are pinching themselves after reportedly beating AC Milan to the signature of Junior Firpo.
The Whites have been keen to sign a left-back all summer and have agreed a £15million fee for the Barcelona man, state widespread reports.
Ezgjan Alioski is out of contract on Thursday, as if Barry Douglas, making left-back an obvious priority for the Whites.
Firpo has been keen to find a route out of the Nou Camp after struggling for first-team opportunities following a 2019 switch from Real Betis.
Since, he has made only 24 appearances for Barcelona and their ongoing cash crisis has prompted the Catalan club to cash in and allow the 25-year-old to join the Spanish revolution at Elland Road.
Italian giants AC Milan were also keen on Firpo but after talks with Victor Orta, he has been convinced to become Leeds' new left-back.
Still pinching themselves at the club's meteoric rise, United fans revelled in beating a European giant to his signature.
