'We're also-rans, Kroenke has no shame!' Arsenal fans can't believe budget reports

Arsenal's plans for the summer transfer window are up in the air ahead of their Europa League final and fans are desperate to see their side qualify for the Champions League.

But what happens to their budget if they do not win the Europa League final against Chelsea on Wednesday, May 29?

As football.london has consistently reported, Arsenal's budget will be less than £50million if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season, something which they can now only do by beating Chelsea in Baku.

Were the Gunners to win their first European trophy in a quarter century they would not only be back at the top table but they would also have a significantly improved budget of around £70m before player sales.

What Arsenal fans demand from Stan Kroenke and what he will actually give them

Therefore, a lack of Champions League football would not only be a blow for the fans, but it could also have a huge financial impact on the landscape of the club's transfer targets this summer as the Gunners look to regroup and build a side capable of a top-four finish next season.

The news has been reaffirmed of late by BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein and there is little wonder Arsenal fans are reacting to his statement on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport on Tuesday with disdain.

Couple this with the fact that Arsenal didn't sign any players permanently in January and the Gunners' supporters are certainly worried about the prospect as the social media reaction below shows.
