'We picked a bad year to not have money' - Arsenal fans fear Leicester City in top six hunt

Arsenal supporters are beginning to fear for their top-six status following Leicester City’s summer business.

The Foxes are one of the favourites to disrupt the top flight’s elite clubs, after a summer of clever spending.

The addition of Youri Tielemans, in particular, for a club-record fee, has sent out a statement that they will be a force to be reckoned with next season.

The Belgian was Brendan Rodgers’ third summer acquisition, following the arrivals of Ayoze Perez and James Justin last week.

Arsenal are yet to spend any money this summer, with rumours of a tight transfer budget restricting the Gunners in the transfer market.

They’re yet to make any progress of bolstering their squad, which is in dire need of defensive reinforcements and an out-and-out winger.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Wilfried Zaha has yet to bear any fruit, whilst there are no new senior defensive acquisitions on the horizon.

That has left some concerned that Unai Emery’s side could be left behind in their bid to reach the Champions League.

Supporters took to social media to voice their concern, which doesn’t look to pretty for the Gunners’ hierarchy.
