'We overcame jealousy and spiced up our sex life with a threesome'

A married couple have worked together to overcome jealousy and open up their relationship on the Channel 4 show Open House: The Great Sex Experiment. In the show couples are put to the test to see if they can open up their relationship and break away from societal norms of just being with one partner.

Jess and Mike, who are married and have two children, entered the show as they wanted to explore having a threesome. Both Jess and Mike are very comfortable having sex with each other, as they are webcam workers (filming themselves having sex) but Jess was unsure about opening the relationship up to another person.

She said: "You just don't know how you are going to feel in that moment until you are there in it...worst-case scenario for me would be that he didn't find me attractive anymore and he wanted to pursue something with someone else. It could happen."

However, after their first attempt at a threesome Jess was left feeling insecure and worried as she feared Mike would start preferring other women to her. She said: "I just feel emotionally drained. It's more me feeling like I am not good enough."

Becoming emotional while talking to relationship expert Dr Lori, Jess explained how a previous relationship had made her feel like she was not good enough. Mike and Jess decided to work together to make sure Jess always felt comfortable and loved during the threesome and after a romantic date together decided to give a threesome another go.

This time the threesome was a success and Mike and Jess left the resort feeling stronger and happier in their relationship. Since the show Mike and Jess have continued to open up their relationship and have more threesomes.

Open House: The Great Sex Experiment is on Channel 4 on Friday, April 8 at 10pm
