Your Manchester Evening News website and its associated print titles now reach nine out of ten of people in Salford, according to industry figures.
The audience data from JICREG True Local shows that we reach 89 per cent of Salford every month through the Salford Weekly News, the Manchester Evening News online and in print, and our other Manchester print titles.
The figures are similarly strong across Greater Manchester, with 84pc of the population in our print areas reached each month.
It's another significant achievement for the Manchester Evening News. In November the title celebrated becoming the first-ever regional news site in the UK to reach the 1 billion page views in a single year.
The site - named Website of the Year at the Regional Press Awards for two years running - regularly generated more than 3m views a day during 2019.
M.E.N editor-in-chief Darren Thwaites believes that reaching 9 out of 10 people in Salford is great, but could be even better. "We're working on that 10th person!" he said.
"I'm absolutely delighted that our audience reach in Salford is so high. It's incredible to think that for every 10 local customers that walk into a Salford business, nine of them will consume our media each month.
