'We need to see more of you': Clarkson's Farm fans beg for star Harriet Cowan to return full-time

Clarkson’s Farm fans are refusing to take no for an answer as they flooded Harriet Cowan’s social media pleaded for her to return to the Prime Video series.

The nurse and farmer, 24, proved a huge hit with viewers when she was drafted in by Clarkson, 65, during the premiere of the fourth series to help out at his 1,000 acre Diddly Squat Farm while farm manager Kaleb Cooper was away.

People waxed lyrical about her down-to-earth nature after she admitted she had never watched a full episode of Clarkson’s Farm and commended her for breaking down stereotypes about female farmers.

Although Cowan’s time on the show was never intended to be permanent and she was simply filling in until Cooper returned from a UK tour, viewers want more.

They made their feelings crystal clear as they took to the comments section on her latest post on TikTok.

“You HAVE to be in every episode of Clarkson’s Farm,” declared one person determinedly.

“OMG Harriet! You are an amazing young woman, we need to see more of you on our screens! What an asset to Clarkson's Farm you are,” enthused another.

“I didn't know the UK had country girls like yo9u. You are way cooler than Clarkson. Country girls rule!!!” added a third.

Cowan previously addressed her popularity during a pre-recorded appearance on BBC Breakfast News last week, saying: "We've always left it very open. I'm here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute.

“If he needs me, I'm here."

Giving an insight into what it’s like to work with Clarkson, she said: "He's just another farmer for me. A flat peak cap and checked shirt, and all that. Genuinely, that man just wants to achieve something with his farm."

She also revealed she has started getting recognised in the street after her TV show debut.

"I'm shocked because I didn't realise so many people are interested in me and what I do day to day. I've never really thought of it as anything exciting. It's just my little life," she admitted.

"I get up and farm, go to work, come back and farm. Even walking down the street and seeing people, they'll recognise us. It's absolutely crazy."
