STORRS, Conn. _ There was no doubt that UConn would have its hands full trying to beat No. 3 Oregon Monday night. But the thoroughly dominant manner in which the Ducks achieved their 74-56 victory was perhaps most disappointing for the No. 4 Huskies, who were handed their second loss of the season and the worst in Gampel Pavilion's 30-year history.
UConn is young, while Oregon is experienced with three possible top-five WNBA draft picks in tow. There's still time, albeit dwindling, for the Huskies to make the progression Auriemma is asking of them.
