'We need a bigger stadium!' - Spurs fans fume as remaining Crystal Palace tickets sell out

Spurs fans have been frantically trying to buy tickets for next Wednesday's first ever league game at the club's new home.

The Lilywhites returned to N17 on Sunday for the first time in almost two years with the club's U18s side beating Southampton 3-1 in front of a crowd of just under 30,000 fans.

A second test event will see Tottenham Legends take on Inter Milan this Sunday, with the first team hosting Crystal Palace in the Premier League three days later.

It promises to be a very special occasion and all Spurs fans desperately want to be there to see Harry Kane and Co walk out in the new stadium for the very first time.

Around 1,000 tickets went on sale at 10am on Monday morning for One Hotspur+ members but they were all gone within 30 minutes, with some fans even claiming that they were still stuck in the queue for tickets long after they had sold.

A further 6,000 tickets were then put on sale for One Hotspur members at 10am on Tuesday morning, but football.london understands the remaining tickets for the big kick-off against the Eagles were snapped up in just 30 minutes.

It looks set to be a mad dash for tickets for the club's remaining home game with around 165,000 members battling it out for around 7,000 tickets.

The news that tickets for the game against Roy Hodgson's side have now sold out hasn't gone down well with plenty of Spurs supporters.

A number have criticised the club's ticketing system after spending plenty of time on the website but having no joy, with some even suggesting that the club build a bigger stadium!

Here's what the fans have had to say on Twitter:
