In honour of #Caturday, Edinburgh Live is shining the spotlight on a cat called Lexi Button, who is need of a home.
With Lexi's adorable face staring back at you through the glass in Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home's cattery, it is hard to imagine why anybody and everybody wouldn't want to adopt her.
She's cute, playful, super affectionate (when it suits her) and staff say she is just "desperate for love".
But Lexi has a health condition that means many visitors don't pay her much attention, even though she could live a very happy and healthy life - all she needs is a chance.
This five-year-old feline would make a great pet for someone who is happy to give her the attention she craves.
She loves a cosy bed, catnip and enjoys a good scratch from a willing human - sounds fair enough?
Lexi would be ideally suited to an adult only home where she is the only pet and will need access to a garden so she can get outside to have fun and explore whenever she wants to.
