'We'll win the league!' - Arsenal fans go ballistic as Raul Sanllehi opens transfer talks

Arsenal are entering the business end of the season and have plenty to fight for, as the Gunners fight for a top-four finish in the Premier League and eye glory on the Europa League.

Attention seems to have started to shift towards the summer transfer market though, where manager Unai Emery will have another opportunity to bolster his defensive line.

After seeing success bringing Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos to the Emirates Stadium last summer, reports suggest the next stage of Emery's plan has the Gunners setting their sights high - with links to Bayern Munich's David Alaba and speculation that negotiations have begun with Barcelona for Samuel Umtiti.

If either transfer were to go ahead, it would see Arsenal benefit from similar circumstances that brought Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to the club - with the former arriving after Gareth Bale's move to Real Madrid and Luis Suarez's switch to Barcelona allowing Alexis to move to the Premier League.
