'We'll be unstoppable' - Chelsea fans react to transfer target Timo Werner's latest Leipzig goal

Timo Werner is back on the scoresheet, putting RB Leipzig 3-1 up in tonight's game away to Cologne in the Bundesliga.

The Germany international finished off a wonderful counterattack early in the second half after latching on to goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi's long kick before dribbling forward and sending a low and controlled finish past the home goalkeeper Timo Horn.

There were 12 seconds between the ball leave Gulacsi's foot and it ending up in the net.

It was Werner's 25th goal of the campaign as he tries to catch Germany's leading goalscorer Robert Lewandowski, who is on 29, in the race for the golden boot.

And Chelsea fans are unsurprisingly getting very excited as a result, with some begging for the 24-year-old not to go to Anfield.

The Blues have been monitoring Werner for some time but he is understood to favour a move to Jurgen Klopp's Premier League leaders.

He has a release clause of about £50million that must be activated this month and the Merseysiders reportedly decided last week not to meet that asking price.
