Joe Worrall has posted a message to Nottingham Forest fans on social media after the 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough last night.
Forest threw away a one-goal lead and needed a smart Lewis Grabban equaliser with four minutes of the Championship clash remaining to salvage a point on Teesside.
Ryan Yates had opened the scoring with a low driven effort after half-an-hour, but Rudy Gestede and Lewis Wing completed a quick turnaround to put Jonathan Woodgate's side ahead at half-time.
Forest pushed for an equaliser in the second half and Boro couldn't hold on, with Grabban touching home a deflected shot to rescue a point.
The Reds now sit eight points from Leeds United in second place with automatic promotion looking out of reach.
Reds centre-back Worrall blasted his side's 'rubbish' first 45 minutes in a television interview after the game and he has offered a more considered opinion on social media.
"Not good enough, we know that," he wrote on Twitter.
"However, another point gained.
"Might just be the kick we need.
"Away following, immense again! Thank you."
