Appearing as one of the musical guests on last night's St Patrick's day special, George finished out the show with the iconic ballad.

Pete St. John, the songwriter behind the Irish classic sadly passed away last year, and George shared how much it meant to him to meet the song writer behind the tune.

Another said: "We have another Luke Kelly on our hands."

"Brilliant stuff, brilliant singer" wrote another, while a fourth viewer praise the performance as "magical stuff."
