Emma Faulds' dad says his family got justice today after the man responsible for his daughter's death was found guilty of murder.
Ian Faulds issued an emotional post this evening after a jury found Ross Willox guilty of killing the 39-year-old.
Writing from his business Facebook page, Faulds the Butcher, Mr Faulds said the past two years had been the worst his family have ever experienced.
Willox always denied murdering the Kilmarnock woman but was found guilty by a jury at the High Court in Glasgow this morning.
Emma's dad said his family would "never forget" her.
He wrote: "Hello everyone. The mafia says it’s not personal, it’s business but on this occasion I feel I have to write this post.
"The last two years have been the worst our family has ever experienced, culminating in a six-week murder trial in the High Court in Glasgow which ended earlier today.
"The conclusion as you are probably aware is the man who murdered our beloved Emma has been found guilty.
"I feel on behalf of my family that I should use this message to thank everyone, friends, customers and the wider community for their fantastic support, kindness and help when needed."
"I need to also acknowledge publicly the effort and extra miles my staff have put in over this difficult time.
"We know we will never get Emma back but we feel with all the professionals involved in the case we’ve got justice for her."
