'Another level' - Leeds United fans respond to Blackburn ticket controversy in style

Leeds United fans wasted no time in snapping up their full allocation for next month's trip to Blackburn Rovers to again reaffirm their commitment to the club.

The Whites travel to Ewood Park on April 3, a match that will now be shown live on Sky Sports with Rovers hiking prices up to £40 for the clash.

With Leeds renowned for charging high ticketing prices, as was the case when the two sides met at Elland Road in November, Rovers have lifted their prices to £40 to match the charge put against their supporters. Throughout this season, Blackburn have generally adhered to the '20s plenty' scheme.

With an allocation of 7,700 supporters for the Friday night clash, supporters of both clubs have argued the merits of increasing the cost on social media. Fans from other clubs were also quick to enter the debate and question whether Leeds would shift all  their tickets.

However, having criticised Reading supporters for their complaints over ticket prices last month, Leeds fans responded by insisting they will still sell out their allocation - and this is exactly what they did, as all tickets were snapped up in less than an hour.

Above is a look at how Leeds United supporters reacted to the news on social media.
