We counted them all out...

... and we counted them all back in again. Well, not all of them. Four of them.

After last friday's shock reintroduction-of-evicted-housemates announcement, and the ensuing furore, tonight's the night that four housemates were put into the 'house next door' - so who went back in - and what were the thrilling details of the uneviction? If you want to know (and if you don't, obviously) you've come to the right place...

Who got voted back into the house-next-door? Grace, Lea, Nikki and Mikey.

And what happened? Well, no, really, that was it. Davina, her lovely hair bouncing emotively, winningly built up no tension whatsoever, and went along the line up, calling out the names that most fools would have put their money on anyway. A floppy-fringed lothario; that study in vacuity known as Mikey, Lea; the world's least convincing woman, a tantrumming child who managed to win the hearts of the nation (if you ask certain quarters, it would appear that she may be the reincarnation of the Queen Mum)(bless'er) and Grace, Grace, the personification of evil.

I realise I may be pointing at the competition, so I hope my editor will forgive me if so - but frankly, Grace Dent's Radio Times Blog is sterling stuff today. I honestly have absolutely no idea why the public have voted Grace back into the house. I mean, I've no idea why anyone voted at all, but Grace? GRACE? Is it just because she's had quite such a high media profile - and quite such a low cut cleavage in most of that? Is that really why? Or is it because they wanted her back in for drama, for her people skills, for her sparkling personality... I just don't understand.

Still. They're back in. Unexpectedly, after trooping in, Big Brother gathered them in the diary room, clearly directed them all to keep schtum, and then showed their gurning mugs to the current captives.

Pete was extremely excited to see Nikki, and latterly Lea, Richard bounced up and down at the sight of Lea (at the sight of whom Glyn visibly dribbled)(as opposed to what, audibly?), and everyone else was a bit quiet, stunned. Except Aisleyne, who was demonstrably petrified. And after the general air of conversation on Big Brother's Big Mouth, who could blame the poor girl.

So there you have it. Whether you wanted it or not, that's all the uneviction news, as it happened, or rather slightly after. Only a week and a half of this left now, you'll be saddened to realise - but too busy to mourn for yet, because now, the question on everyone's lips remains...

Who will go back into the main house on Friday? Which evicted housemate will return, and stand a chance of snaffling all the prize money? Will it be the winsome Nikki, who left the house with 37% of the vote several weeks ago, taking all Pete's va-va-voom with her? Or will it be Nikki, with all the weight that Endemol has resting on her tiny shoulders? A return and perhaps a win would be the best publicity for her upcoming show, after all... Or, perhaps, it could be Nikki, or even... well, you get the idea.

Oh, and Richard and Imogen have been nominated for eviction on Friday. My prediction? Richard out. And who in in his place? Who can tell? It's an open playing field.

An open playing field with the goalposts Nikki-width apart.
