"We can't lose this guy" - Manchester United fans say same thing after Paul Pogba's performance against Leeds United

Paul Pogba put in an impressive performance to earn United an impressive 5-1 victory over Leeds United in what was a dream start to the Premier League season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side.

The midfielder set up Bruno Fernandes' opener on 30 minutes before the visitors equalised soon after half-time.

It quickly became the Pogba and Fernandes show as the Frenchman was once again instrumental as United reclaimed the lead minutes later through Mason Greenwood.

He then assisted United's third and Fernandes' second of the afternoon before the Portuguese international sealed his hat-trick after a clever ball from Victor Lindelof.

It didn't stop there, though, as Fred made it five for the hosts and Pogba registered an impressive fourth assist of the game.

He was substituted shortly after with 15 minutes left to play, but United fans were already praising the player on social media.

"We can't lose this guy I'm telling you," one supporter expressed on Twitter.

Another added: "I'll say this again It will be a mistake letting this man go."

@stephenkirwan75 tweeted: "What a result! If Pogba plays like that for most of the season, we will win the League."

@urbansk1 posted: "It’s probably the best game Paul Pogba has had in the red shirt."

@chidpiero1 said: "Pogba so good today it was difficult keeping up with his assists. The quality of them more impressive than the quantity."

@M1CH4ELKN1GHT added: "Pogba must think he’s still at the Euros. That’s the Pogba we want week in week out."

Jesse Lingard also took to social media to weigh in on the midfielder's performance, as he referenced the partnership with Fernandes, saying: "PP x BF" followed by a number of flame emojis.

Gary Lineker also heaped praise on the French international, tweeting: "He’s a lovely footballer is @paulpogba"

Rio Ferdinand weighed in by posting: "Bruno x Pogba show at OT. Atmosphere!!!"

Pogba featured just 26 times for United in the league last term and scored three goals in that time.

He also registered five assists, just one more than his impressive tally in their opening game of the new campaign.
