'We can't imagine life without you': Partner's devastation as 'love of my life' fiancé killed

A woman has paid tribute to her 'selfless' fiancé after he was killed in a motorbike crash in Wigan. Jamie Harrison, 53, died following the smash on Hall Lane in Hindley at around 4pm on Thursday (September 1).

Mr Harrison's Honda CBR100 motorbike and a Ford Focus were involved in the collision, police said. The other driver remained at the scene.

Officers have previously said that no arrests have been made. Mr Harrison's fiancée, Amanda, has now paid tribute to the man she described as the 'love of her life' following his tragic death.

In a statement issued via Greater Manchester Police, she said: "As a family we are devastated the loss of my babe (Jamie). It has been such a shock and something we as a family will never be able to comprehend or get over.

"We can't imagine life without you, my handsome man. You were funny, always right and the love of my life.

"You were so selfless when it came to us all and loving. The only solace as a family, is that you died the way you would of wanted to.

"Rest in peace Babe, you are missed so much, big kiss."
