We can't all have Martha Stewart's faux bois table, so she designed a chic dinnerware set that's the next best thing (for under $70)

Martha Stewart.

We could all use a little more nature in our homes. Whether it's through actual greenery or natural materials, bringing the outside indoors is a tried and true design strategy for a reason: it makes any room feel calm and welcoming.

When we saw that Martha Stewart decorated her Skylands living room with a faux bois table, we were intrigued. The black table is topped with a gold, intricately illustrated tray, which combines luxury with imagery of the great outdoors.

'The library is much more comfortable now and the faux bois table is now the card table,' she captioned the post. 'I love the rustic yet elegant charm of this lovely 1925 house.' That's why, when we found out Martha has some additional faux bois pieces in her QVC collection, we had to ensure it takes center stage.

While hunting for a table like the one in Martha's Skylands property can require some antique hunting, the dish set that's available is an excellent option for those who want to get the look at their dining tables.

The faux bois 12-piece stoneware dinner set comes in a classic white hue, though it is intricately embossed with a bark-inspired pattern, making for a unique table setting. We can see it working particularly well in the fall for a Thanksgiving tablescape, but its color and subtlety make it a staple for the whole year. The entire set is conveniently dishwasher- and microwave-safe. At $65.59, it's a fantastic price, too.

To enhance the dining room's natural feel, we also love the rattan placemats, which arguably are a timeless purchase, as well as a faux bois planter, which would look fabulous in the corner of a room with an indoor tree. They're not Martha's unique table, but they do allow us to tap into the look at an accsessible price point (and we'd argue they almost look just as good).
