Think you know BT’s Home Hub? Think again.
In an increasingly resource-constrained world, BT has applied sustainable design thinking in the creation of the Home Hub router. In fact they have developed a sustainable design checklist to help build sustainable design principles into new products, services and processes - principles further explained in their new case studies.
Checkpoints such as reduced electrical power consumption, minimising product materials, recycling redundant units and reducing delivery miles are all contributing to building a better future.
The checklist complements the Designing Our Tomorrow research that BT has supported at the University of Cambridge.
