We asked Lewis Capaldi the most important question in the city

Lewis Capaldi played one of his biggest headline shows yet in Croxteth Park.

The superstar performed in front of 12,000 people at the BBC 1 show with the backing of a full orchestra.

As well as treating audiences to hit songs such as Hold Me While You Wait and Someone You Loved, , to the Liverpool crowd.

Ahead of his show Lewis met up with the ECHO for a chat which included a quick fire round of Liverpool themed questions.

The ECHO put it to Lewis whether he is a red or a blue - and the Scot admitted he leans more towards Liverpool FC than Everton.
