'We are worried sick' - Family plea for missing Chester-le-Street man Richard Holden to come home

The family of a man who has been missing for 48 hours say they are "worried sick".

Richard Holden was last seen on Saturday morning but has since disappeared from his home in Chester-le-Street , County Durham.

His nephew Cory Hedley has been sharing his uncle's photo on social media in the hope that somebody will recognise him.

The family say the 36-year-old has connections to Scotland and London and may have travelled to either of these areas.

Cory urged others on Facebook to share Richard's picture and said: "Get him back home to his family, we are all worried sick."

Durham Constabulary confirmed that Mr Holden has been reported missing.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101.
