We are so proud of you' Devastated mum pays touching tribute to crash victim fiancé

The fiancé of a young dad killed in a Fife horror crash has paid tribute to the 'amazing lad' who was 'one of the best'.

Jacqueline Arnott took to social media to hail her late partner, William Fisher, for 'helping so many people' through organ donation after his passing.

how the 25-year-old was fatally struck by a car on Formonthills Road in Glenrothes on Thursday at 8.25pm.

Pedestrian, William was rushed to hospital but police later confirmed that he had died.

Heartbroken Jacqueline wrote on Facebook: "I want to thank everyone for their messages of love and support.

"By being an organ donor William has helped so many people.

"So we are taking comfort in this and we are so proud of him.

"He will be sorely missed by a lot of people.

"I am seeing all your messages even though I may not reply I'm thankful for them all."

Loved ones paid tribute to William in their droves.

One wrote: So sad.

"William was such a nice boy and fun to be around.

"RIP William."

"A second mourner posted: "RIP, one of the best taken too soon.

"Never forgotten, one of a kind."

A third added: "RIP William you were an amazing lad.

"Another one taken too soon."

Another loved one wrote: Still cant believe it gone William Fisher.

"I'm going to miss you so much, love you.

"Will miss your cheeky wee face."

Sergeant Ewan Pearce said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Fisher’s family at this difficult time and our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.

"Nobody has been charged.

"The investigation is still ongoing and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

“Anyone with information or dash-cam footage that could assist who has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact the Road Policing Unit in Glenrothes by calling 101, quoting incident 3532 of 6 February."
