GlasGLOW has teased details about its upcoming 'World Two' experience.
With a nod to extra-terrestrial life, 'Area G12: We Are Not Alone' will centre around 'unconfirmed sightings, mysterious abductions and conspiracy theories'.
A video, which you can view above, purporting to track alien life-forms and UFOs across the city gives Glaswegians a hint as to what to expect, when 'World Two' arrives this Halloween, at the Botanic Gardens.
Yesterday we revealed GlasGLOW's upcoming 'World One' experience, the first of nine worlds being showcased at the event, with 'Arcade' enabling people to enter their own video game, make it through each level and beat the boss.
As first reported last week, the huge sound and light spectacular is coming back to the Botanics bigger and better than ever, after the inaugural year caused a storm.
The event sold out to 75,000 visitors in 2018, transforming the west end park into another world that included dragons, selfies with the moon and dancing fairylights galore. This year, organisers Itison expect 100,000 people through the Botanic Garden gates.
The whole thing is costing £750,000 this year to make it “bigger, better and glowier” - and you’ll find out more about those fantasy worlds in the coming days as itison release trailers for each, so keep watching this space.
Founder Oli Norman explained: “Last year we were just warming up! This year’s looking epic and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.
“We’re introducing a majority community element to give back, so with every GLOW we can create a lasting positive impact - more will be revealed soon!”
GlasGLOW will run October 25 - November 3 and earlybird tickets go on sale on August 20 at 7.30am.
